Equally parts upset at my son and myself for this one. My eldest child had me convinced that this ‘Piplup’ was a real penguin. Shame on me for not having a degree in Arctic Studies or something. I went to the Boston Aquarium a few years back and saw a picture of a penguin with silly eyebrows so when my son showed me a picture of what simply appeared to be a short, blue penguin, I accepted it at face value.
I mean, there’s a penguin called ‘Macaroni Penguin’ and I only know that because of my recent Google search as I desperately grasp on to what is real.
